Our Knitting 104 class will teach some basic techniques that can be used in many projects including socks and the famous S-Curve. You will learn techniques for doing Magic Loop or Traveling Loop. These are methods of knitting small circles with a larger diameter circular needle. In other words, you can make hats, socks, sleeves, and mittens without using DPNS or a 16" needle!  You will also learn German Short Rows. This is a great technique to use when making heels, fitted garments, or the lovely shaping of the S-Curve! Once you have completed this class you will have the skills necessary to master short row socks and slippers! This class is appropriate for advanced beginner and intermediate knitters who can knit, purl, read a basic pattern and want to learn more. Please bring size 6 or 7 circular needles in 32"-40" length with 20 stitches of worsted weight yarn cast on in your preferred method.
