Mistico ***PRE-ORDER***

This is a pre-order. See below for the specs for Melanie Berg's Midnight Drive sweater if that is what you are looking to make. All sales are final. Pre-orders will close Tuesday, December 16, and I will place the order with Berroco the next day. Everything will ship here to Threadbender. I cannot guarantee we will have the order before Christmas.

Brushed alpaca creates a soft halo while the cotton, wool and nylon core seem to illuminate flecks of color in Mistico. The fabric created with this yarn is soft and light but retains a good stitch definition.

48% cotton, 30% alpaca, 12% wool, 10% nylon

50g/191y aran weight

17-21 sts = 4" on size 5-8 needle

19-20 sc = 4" on size E-G hook

hand wash, lay flat to dry

You will only be using one strand of Mistico to get a very similar look to Melanie's two strands held together. Because it's only one strand, you will need less yardage. I chose the higher of the two, and here is what you will need:

Measurements given are for the finished garment. The sweater is designed to fit with about 10” / 25 cm of positive ease at the bust, less for larger sizes.
