We are happy to present Walkaroo MKAL, the first event to kick off our 40th Anniversary series of events! Walkaroo is a functional bag for the yarnie on the go. Sections of the project will be released the mornings of the Zooms. Skill level is beyond beginner, and you will likely learn a few new things along the way! That’s all we can say. It’s a mystery!
Walkaroo MKAL is free to participate in, but as with all classes and alongs, you must purchase your yarn from us specifically for this KAL in order to join.
Meetings:
We will meet via Zoom for us to help you with any questions or problems you may be having! The Zoom meetings are all Thursdays from 6p-7p EST:

Yarn:
We made kits with Emma’s Simply Spectacular DK! If you want to choose your own colors, you will need 122y for A, 122y for B, and 50y for C of a dk weight similar to SSDK. We chose to knit with SSDK due to the nylon component adding strength, the washability, and the fabulous colors. You do not want a yarn with a looser twist. And, if you are not using three tonals or solids, we recommend only one of your colors be variegated. It doesn’t matter which of the three. Your three colors together can blend or be high contrast.
