In this class you will learn the basics of spinning fiber into yarn on a wheel using a Schacht Sidekick in a one-on-one format. We will go over basic terminology, fiber prep, properties and types, and practice spinning on the wheel. Rounding out the session with a 2-ply mini skein using the ball method. This class is open to beginners as well as those looking for a refresher after a long break or seasoned spinners looking to learn additional plying techniques. You will go home with a spinning handout as well as your own mini skein to cherish! If any of the listed dates and times don’t fit your schedule, please give us a call to make other arrangements.
